How to Add an Events Page to Your Squarespace Website

Whether you are an events company, a coach, or anything in between, I am here to help you add an events page to your Squarespace website. The Squarespace platform makes this very easy to achieve on your website. Without wasting any more time, let’s just into Squarespace and get started!

Adding An Events Page On Squarespace

Step 1: Adding The Events PAGE

  1. Make your way to Pages in the Squarespace portal.

  2. In the top right corner of the padding, you will need to select the plus (+) icon to add a new page.

  3. You will see a dropdown of different page types, select Events.

  4. Choose from the 2 template options. - You can customize this later, so don’t worry too much.

  5. Choose what you would like to name your page. Upcoming? Tickets?

Step 2: Remove Default Events

  1. You will see 5 of the different default events Squarespace creates for you.

  2. At the bottom left of your page you will see “Select all”, press this button.

  3. Select “delete”.

Step 3: Create Your First Event

  1. Select the plus (+) icon to create a new event.

  2. Choose a title (e.g., "Meetup in London").

  3. Choose the date and time when you would like the event to occur.

  4. Describe the event for your audience.

Step 4: Give Your Audience The Option To Book

  • If you offer some kind of paid booking, consider the following.

    • Add a Button to navigate your audience to another service such as Booksy.

    • Use a Squarespace Product Page you can add your tickets as a product on Squarespace.
