Build a Squarespace Website in 15 Minutes

In my latest YouTube video I shared with my audience how exactly you can build a Squarespace website in just 15 minutes. Granted it will be far from a finished result, as custom CSS, brand implementation, and perfecting a Squarespace website can often take weeks. But my goal in this video was to create a ‘finished’ Squarespace site that you can use to get basic information across to your audience.

How To Create A Squarespace Website In 15 Minutes:

This article will give an outline of what I cover in the YouTube version (which you can view here).

You will want to do the following

• Start by getting your branding right. Go to site styles and select your desired font, colors, and animations you would like for the website. This is a vital stage. - If you would like to add custom fonts check out this tutorial.

• Use the Squarespace built-in blocks (images, text, videos, forms) to create a layout within each section.

• Edit these forms to match your brand, and give off the relevant information.

• Playing with design settings like image shapes and paddings

I understand that most of the people watching this are not Squarespace website designers. So in the early stages of your build, it isn’t about perfection, it’s simply about getting relevant information across to your audience.

My Advice:

• Prioritize the basics of your brand identity at first (colors and fonts).

• Keep it looking tidy rather than exotic until your basics are set in stone.

• Copy and images can come later.
